Mobile photography is an important part of the smartphone experience, offering users an easy and convenient means to take pictures and videos while on the go. It might not be all that common but printing these photos is an option and while a traditional desktop photo printer might be the first thing most think about, there are other options.
Fujifilm has revealed details about its latest smartphone compatible printer that is called the instax SHARE SP-3. The SP-3 is the successor to the SP-2 and aims to maintain the ability to produce high-quality prints, but also provide something more unique with its instax SQUARE Film format. These prints don't come in your typical 4 x 6 photo size but instead print in a 1:1 aspect ratio which has gained popularity thanks to photo hosting and sharing service Instagram.
Users of the printer will be able to connect from their compatible mobile phone using the SP-3 app which will also be able to pull photos from popular social media services like Facebook, Dropbox, Google Photos, and more. The printer will come in two color variations, white and black, and will be available on November 17 for $199.95.
